5 Things You Need To Know About How To Increase Blog Traffic

These are the five tips you need to know to increase blog traffic.

Here are the steps to success.
If you have a blog already or not, this is vital information. I believe everyone should have a blog because of RSS and the benefits of constant updating content on your site.

#1 -Setup the Blog
I recommend Wordpress and hosting it yourself. I use a whole bunch of plugins (I will post the top plugins soon) to make my life easier and simple free templates will do the trick with a little tweaking. If you don’t know how to set it up. Go to the Warrior Forum and get it done for you from one of the many web experts. Get a custom logo done or even a custom blog. You can even get the articles written for you at sites like elance.com!

#2 -Create Quality Content
Write quality content in your niche. Usually the error is made in not coming up with the goals of what you want to accomplish for your blog. Set yourself with reachable goals and be consistent with your blog.
You need to produce the right type of good content. Make content that your target audience will benefit from and want to come back for more. You need to give information, information, and more information!
Enhance the lives of your readers. After reading your blog, they should feel good and informed. Your goal is to make a very targeted niche and focus on getting an target audience that is looking for that specific topic.

The blogger must create a blog where people want to keep coming back again and again where it was found by word of mouth or a search engine result.

Note: Have 10 Top Quality Articles in place before promotion

#3 – Promote your blog on small communication channels
Small Results (You need to do a lot of this)
  • Posting Comments on Blogs & Forums (10 / Day minimum)
  • Article Posting (Do research on the keyword of your title before hand)
  • Pinging (Pingoat.com – Sends out your RSS to the world)
  • Social Networking (Drive people to your best articles and build relationships)
  • Submitting to Directories / Search Engines (Do SEO for certain keywords; build your backlinks)
Notes: You want to focus on getting a good group of readers first before worrying about making big traffic. The key is to understand your reader. Know what they like and will buy. Get feedback from them if you don’t know your niche well enough yourself.

By this time, your blog will be looking nice, having some readers, and getting a modest amount of traffic. Now, it’s time to turn on the flood of traffic!

#4 – Get a flood of traffic to your site
  • Spend Money on Advertising (Be smart – Find areas where your targeted audience will be)
  • Get on TV or get your blog posted on a well known site
  • Find someone with a huge subscriber list to talk about your blog.
  • Podcasting Interviews – Have a top blogger do the interview and ask them questions. Not only will you learn and build a relationship with this top blogger, you will have a windfall of new traffic from that blogger when they talk about the interview on their site.
Notes: This will take time and patience. Don’t give up!  It’s much easier to build traffic once you have thousands of people subscribed to your blog. They will be posting your content all over the web and by word of mouth alone you will build a following of readers.

Eventually, your efforts will pay off and someone will give you big exposure.

#5 – Monetize!
  • Set up a free report or tool such as my 110 Free Traffic Tips Report.
  • Offer a great quality backend product after the reader takes advantage of your free report or tool. This is the best way to presell your customer which is extremely vital.
  • Post reviews of top quality products in your niche that you can endorsed for your readers to check out. Such as Twitter Snipe or Twitter Traffic Exposed – Both Tools I personally endorsed and have used.
  • Offer ad space and charge by the month.
  • Adsense and other ad sources.
  • Offer top products with recurring income to your readers Example – Aweber has a recurring commission for every referral.

Make Easy Money With Google Review

Make Easy Money with Google is written by Eric Giguere who’s website can be found at EricGiguere.com. He’s written a few other programming books, none of which I’ve read (not my subjects). The book has a companion website/blog MakeEasyMoneywithGoogle.com.

The book is written in conversational style, with the author talking and explaining things to three fictional characters. Each has different styles, goals, and approaches to building a website with Adsense. While you will probably identify with one character over the others, all of them are important to the story. This approach makes for a book that’s very easy read and understand (KUDOS Eric!), and at just over 250 pages you can probably get through it in few days or a long weekend. In the first part of the book the authors spends considerable time and effort explaining how to register a domain, get hosting , build a simple website and publish it. In the second part of the book he goes into explaining the basics of the adsense program, how to get different size ad units, choose colors. He very briefly goes into design, placement, and keyword theory.

The Good: This book is very easy to read and comprehend. If you’ve never published a website before and want to learn how to do it, and make some money using adsense, this is the perfect book for you.

The Bad: If you have built more than 6 websites in your life, or are already meeting adsense’s minimum monthly payment threshold, there’s probably not much in here for you.

When all is said and done this is a good book, and is best suited for new or inexperienced web publishers, or people with little or no experience with contextual advertising programs. If you read some of the reviews from amazon or other places you’ll see this book isn’t well received by the “techie” types who think it’s too basic, which is unfair, as I don’t think the book was intended for them. However the reviews clearly show there is “demand” for a book covering advanced contextual advertising concepts, implementation and theory, if someone is willing to go after it.

Free Traffic Analytics Tools

The Free Basic Web Analytics Tools

1. Traffic Tracking Tool: Google Analytics

One of the best and most powerful free web analytics tools to track your website visitors is Google Analytics. Not only can you get all the basic metrics like pageviews and unique visitors, and trends for them over time, but you can set up goals so you can measure conversion rates (like for newsletter signups or products purchased). Another cool feature is the Site Overlay tool which enables you to see a visual breakdown of where visitors are going and clicking on your website. Its also very easy to put on your website - all you have to do is put a simple tag on each of your pages. No need for help from techy folks or your IT department.

2. Traffic Tracking Tool: Woopra

One of the newer free web analytics contenders (so new in fact that they are still in beta) is a tool called Woopra. This tracking tool is ideal for smaller websites, especially for blogs. Two of the cool features it has (that Google Analytics doesn’t offer) are real time visitor analysis (you can see where they came from, what page they are on, where they have been so far etc), and also a great built in chat tool, that allows you to popup messages to your visitors and actually talk to them - offer help, get feedback etc. Might be worth checking out, especially for those of you looking to try something different than the leading free Google Analytics tool.

3. Blog Feed Tracking Tool: Feedburner

For those of you that have a blog out there, you should be offering RSS (real simple syndication) feeds of your blog posts. This way, visitors don’t have to keep coming to your website to read your posts - they can read them via an online feed reader like Bloglines or Google Reader, or even read them in a daily email. This free tool, Feedburner, makes it easy to track who is subscribing to your posts via feed readers and email, and helps you learn what your most popular posts are. Go sign up!

Free Web Traffic

Traffic to websites has never been an easy task. Most people associate more traffic to a website with more money spent on a website.  Free web traffic almost sounds too good to be true. Let us break it down to the probable methods. As opposed to pay per clicks or ppc as it is fondly called affiliate marketing is one method that asks nothing out of you except for your time.  Good content generates more visits and will keep your visitors coming back for more.

Generate the content for your website first. Research well on the topic you want to showcase on your website and lay out in such a manner that is easy to read while at the same time is eye catching also. Use keywords appropriately after choosing the right ones using the Google Ad words.

Highlight the keywords and important points in such a way that a visitor can sift through your article and grasp the essence of what you have to say as not all of them will have enough patience to read through the complete content. Free web traffic is guaranteed only if a sincere effort to create quality content is made.
Interact on social networking sites and online forums as often as possible. These ensure free web traffic as it is as important to market yourself as much as your website.  If people like your content they will want to know who the author is. It is important to put a face behind your words as it makes it as real as possible for the reader.

Make important references to other articles you might have written that are relevant to the present one as readers might be interested in reading if they are impressed with your writing. Submit your articles to as many free blogs and directories as possible.

When you make a submission be sure to add a resource box at the end of it stating a line or two about the author and his background along with a reference to his website. This will prove to be a path back to your website and in turn ensures that interested readers will make it a point to visit your website.

Keep your content fresh at all times.  Once the content is uploaded keep your site updated with news events and important videos that will keep visitors interested in your site. Rome was not built in a day and so was not a successful website. Free web traffic is possible only if you are ready to invest your time into it.

Grab the most visible area on any website

I know your ads aren't working.

How do I know this?

Because I'm betting that you're probably getting a pathetically
low click-through rate and an almost non-existent conversion
rate out of those ads.

Let me explain.

The truth is, banner ads and link exchanges just don't work
anymore. People just ignore them completely.

Google and other major companies that get the bulk of their
profits from advertising have tried to counteract this
'banner blindness' by making ads different sizes
- which worked ... for awhile.

You can be the best graphic designer or copywriter in the
world - and it doesn't make one bit of difference. Your ads
still have a horrible conversion rate.

Want to know which kind of ads people don't ignore?
== Header Ads.

The header is the area at the very top of a web page. It
usually includes the product name, maybe a photo of the
creator and a graphic of a software box or book cover.

It's also the very first thing people notice on a website,
and the very first graphic to load.

Now what if you could take this same header area from
someone else's site and put YOUR ads on it?

Can you see just how much more targeted that would be?
The site visitors can't help but notice it - which means
you get more click-thrus and more eager buyers coming
to YOUR site!

See what I mean at  HeaderAds.com

It's like getting someone else to do all the marketing
for you. All you do is sit back and watch as the customers
pour in!

And best of all - if you go to HeaderAds.com
- you'll find out exactly how much this advertising costs:

Nothing!

But I should warn you. As soon as the big marketing
pros hear about this - their servers are going to fill up
fast. And once the space fills up, they might have to
start charging.

Get in now before it's too late - HeaderAds.com

10 Powerful Marketing Tips for the Small Business

  1. Print your best small ad on a postcard and mail it to prospects in your targeted market.
People read postcards when the message is brief. A small ad on a postcard can drive a high volume of traffic to your web site and generate a flood of sales leads for a very small cost.
  2. No single marketing effort works all the time for every business, so rotate several marketing tactics and vary your approach.
Your customers tune out after awhile if you toot only one note. Not only that, YOU get bored. Marketing can be fun, so take advantage of the thousands of opportunities available for communicating your value to customers. But don't be arbitrary about your selection of a variety of marketing ploys. Plan carefully. Get feedback from customers and adapt your efforts accordingly.
  3. Use buddy marketing to promote your business.
For example, if you send out brochures, you could include a leaflet and/or business card of another business, which had agreed to do the same for you. This gives you the chance to reach a whole new pool of potential customers.
  4. Answer Your Phone Differently.
Try announcing a special offer when you answer the phone. For example you could say, "Good morning, this is Ann Marie with Check It Out; ask me about my special marketing offer." The caller is compelled to ask about the offer. Sure, many companies have recorded messages that play when you're tied up in a queue, but who do you know that has a live message? I certainly haven't heard of anyone. Make sure your offer is aggressive and increase your caller's urgency by including a not-so-distant expiration date.
  5. Stick It!
Use stickers, stamps and handwritten notes on all of your direct mail efforts and day-to-day business mail. Remember, when you put a sticker or handwritten message on the outside of an envelope, it has the impact of a miniature billboard. People read it first; however, the message should be short and concise so it can be read in less than 10 seconds.
  6. Send A Second Offer To Your Customers Immediately After They've Purchased
Your customer just purchased a sweater from your clothing shop. Send a handwritten note to your customer thanking them for their business and informing them that upon their return with "this note" they may take advantage of a private offer, such as 20% off their next purchase. To create urgency, remember to include an expiration date.
  7. Newsletters
Did you know it costs six times more to make a sale to a new customer than to an existing one? You can use newsletters to focus your marketing on past customers. Keep costs down by sacrificing frequency and high production values. If printed newsletters are too expensive, consider an e-mail newsletter sent to people who subscribe at your Web site.
  8. Seminars/ open house
Hosting an event is a great way to gain face time with key customers and prospects as well as get your company name circulating. With the right programming, you'll be rewarded with a nice turnout and media coverage. If it's a seminar, limit the attendance and charge a fee. A fee gives the impression of value. Free often connotes, whether intended or not, that attendees will have to endure a sales pitch.
  9. Bartering
This is an excellent tool to promote your business and get others to use your product and services. You can trade your product for advertising space or for another company's product or service. This is especially helpful when two companies on limited budgets can exchange their services.
  10. Mail Outs
Enclose your brochure, ad, flyer etc. in all your outgoing mail. It doesn't cost any additional postage and you'll be surprised at who could use what you're offering.

55 Quick SEO Tips

Everyone loves a good tip, right? Here are 55 quick tips for search engine optimization that even your mother could use to get cooking. Well, not my mother, but you get my point. Most folks with some web design and beginner SEO knowledge should be able to take these to the bank without any problem.
1. If you absolutely MUST use Java script drop down menus, image maps or image links, be sure to put text links somewhere on the page for the spiders to follow.
2. Content is king, so be sure to have good, well-written and unique content that will focus on your primary keyword or keyword phrase.
3. If content is king, then links are queen. Build a network of quality backlinks using your keyword phrase as the link. Remember, if there is no good, logical reason for that site to link to you, you don’t want the link.
4. Don’t be obsessed with PageRank. It is just one isty bitsy part of the ranking algorithm. A site with lower PR can actually outrank one with a higher PR.
5. Be sure you have a unique, keyword focused Title tag on every page of your site. And, if you MUST have the name of your company in it, put it at the end. Unless you are a major brand name that is a household name, your business name will probably get few searches.

6. Fresh content can help improve your rankings. Add new, useful content to your pages on a regular basis. Content freshness adds relevancy to your site in the eyes of the search engines.
7. Be sure links to your site and within your site use your keyword phrase. In other words, if your target is “blue widgets” then link to “blue widgets” instead of a “Click here” link.
8. Focus on search phrases, not single keywords, and put your location in your text (“our Palm Springs store” not “our store”) to help you get found in local searches.
9. Don’t design your web site without considering SEO. Make sure your web designer understands your expectations for organic SEO. Doing a retrofit on your shiny new Flash-based site after it is built won’t cut it. Spiders can crawl text, not Flash or images.
10. Use keywords and keyword phrases appropriately in text links, image ALT attributes and even your domain name.
11. Check for canonicalization issues – www and non-www domains. Decide which you want to use and 301 redirect the other to it. In other words, if http://www.domain.com is your preference, then http://domain.com should redirect to it.
12. Check the link to your home page throughout your site. Is index.html appended to your domain name? If so, you’re splitting your links. Outside links go to http://www.domain.com and internal links go to http://www.domain.com/index.html.
Ditch the index.html or default.php or whatever the page is and always link back to your domain.
13. Frames, Flash and AJAX all share a common problem – you can’t link to a single page. It’s either all or nothing. Don’t use Frames at all and use Flash and AJAX sparingly for best SEO results.
14. Your URL file extension doesn’t matter. You can use .html, .htm, .asp, .php, etc. and it won’t make a difference as far as your SEO is concerned.
15. Got a new web site you want spidered? Submitting through Google’s regular submission form can take weeks. The quickest way to get your site spidered is by getting a link to it through another quality site.
16. If your site content doesn’t change often, your site needs a blog because search spiders like fresh text. Blog at least three time a week with good, fresh content to feed those little crawlers.
17. When link building, think quality, not quantity. One single, good, authoritative link can do a lot more for you than a dozen poor quality links, which can actually hurt you.
18. Search engines want natural language content. Don’t try to stuff your text with keywords. It won’t work. Search engines look at how many times a term is in your content and if it is abnormally high, will count this against you rather than for you.
19. Not only should your links use keyword anchor text, but the text around the links should also be related to your keywords. In other words, surround the link with descriptive text.
20. If you are on a shared server, do a blacklist check to be sure you’re not on a proxy with a spammer or banned site. Their negative notoriety could affect your own rankings.
21. Be aware that by using services that block domain ownership information when you register a domain, Google might see you as a potential spammer.
22. When optimizing your blog posts, optimize your post title tag independently from your blog title.
23. The bottom line in SEO is Text, Links, Popularity and Reputation.
24. Make sure your site is easy to use. This can influence your link building ability and popularity and, thus, your ranking.
25. Give link love, Get link love. Don’t be stingy with linking out. That will encourage others to link to you.
26. Search engines like unique content that is also quality content. There can be a difference between unique content and quality content. Make sure your content is both.
27. If you absolutely MUST have your main page as a splash page that is all Flash or one big image, place text and navigation links below the fold.
28. Some of your most valuable links might not appear in web sites at all but be in the form of e-mail communications such as newletters and zines.
29. You get NOTHING from paid links except a few clicks unless the links are embedded in body text and NOT obvious sponsored links.
30. Links from .edu domains are given nice weight by the search engines. Run a search for possible non-profit .edu sites that are looking for sponsors.
31. Give them something to talk about. Linkbaiting is simply good content.
32. Give each page a focus on a single keyword phrase. Don’t try to optimize the page for several keywords at once.
33. SEO is useless if you have a weak or non-existent call to action. Make sure your call to action is clear and present.
34. SEO is not a one-shot process. The search landscape changes daily, so expect to work on your optimization daily.
35. Cater to influential bloggers and authority sites who might link to you, your images, videos, podcasts, etc. or ask to reprint your content.
36. Get the owner or CEO blogging. It’s priceless! CEO influence on a blog is incredible as this is the VOICE of the company. Response from the owner to reader comments will cause your credibility to skyrocket!
37. Optimize the text in your RSS feed just like you should with your posts and web pages. Use descriptive, keyword rich text in your title and description.
38. Use captions with your images. As with newspaper photos, place keyword rich captions with your images.
39. Pay attention to the context surrounding your images. Images can rank based on text that surrounds them on the page. Pay attention to keyword text, headings, etc.
40. You’re better off letting your site pages be found naturally by the crawler. Good global navigation and linking will serve you much better than relying only on an XML Sitemap.
41. There are two ways to NOT see Google’s Personalized Search results:
(1) Log out of Google
(2) Append &pws=0 to the end of your search URL in the search bar
42. Links (especially deep links) from a high PageRank site are golden. High PR indicates high trust, so the back links will carry more weight.
43. Use absolute links. Not only will it make your on-site link navigation less prone to problems (like links to and from https pages), but if someone scrapes your content, you’ll get backlink juice out of it.
44. See if your hosting company offers “Sticky” forwarding when moving to a new domain. This allows temporary forwarding to the new domain from the old, retaining the new URL in the address bar so that users can gradually get used to the new URL.
45. Understand social marketing. It IS part of SEO. The more you understand about sites like Digg, Yelp, del.icio.us, Facebook, etc., the better you will be able to compete in search.
46. To get the best chance for your videos to be found by the crawlers, create a video sitemap and list it in your Google Webmaster Central account.
47. Videos that show up in Google blended search results don’t just come from YouTube. Be sure to submit your videos to other quality video sites like Metacafe, AOL, MSN and Yahoo to name a few.
48. Surround video content on your pages with keyword rich text. The search engines look at surrounding content to define the usefulness of the video for the query.
49. Use the words “image” or “picture” in your photo ALT descriptions and captions. A lot of searches are for a keyword plus one of those words.
50. Enable “Enhanced image search” in your Google Webmaster Central account. Images are a big part of the new blended search results, so allowing Google to find your photos will help your SEO efforts.
51. Add viral components to your web site or blog – reviews, sharing functions, ratings, visitor comments, etc.
52. Broaden your range of services to include video, podcasts, news, social content and so forth. SEO is not about 10 blue links anymore.
53. When considering a link purchase or exchange, check the cache date of the page where your link will be located in Google. Search for “cache:URL” where you substitute “URL” for the actual page. The newer the cache date the better. If the page isn’t there or the cache date is more than an month old, the page isn’t worth much.
54. If you have pages on your site that are very similar (you are concerned about duplicate content issues) and you want to be sure the correct one is included in the search engines, place the URL of your preferred page in your sitemaps.
55. Check your server headers. Search for “check server header” to find free online tools for this. You want to be sure your URLs report a “200 OK” status or “301 Moved Permanently ” for redirects. If the status shows anything else, check to be sure your URLs are set up properly and used consistently throughout your site.

Most Important Search Engine Ranking Factors

Improve your site’s search engines rankings and drive huge search engine traffic your way. But while search engine optimization is essential, it is important to know which factors actually influence search engine rankings. I read this amazing Search Engine Ranking Factors report which compiled the wisdom of 37 leaders in the world of organic search engine optimization. They voted on the various factors that are estimated to comprise Google’s ranking algorithm.
While I tried to grasp the concepts underlying these SEO factors, understanding the whole document takes time and effort. To make it simpler, the guys at Search Engine Journal compiled a quick reference (color chart) sorted by absolute rating of importance and not by category/type first as the original document.
4 factors which were rated high importance with full consensus were

  • Keyword Use in Title Tag
  • Global Link Popularity of Site
  • Anchor Text of Inbound Link
  • Link Popularity within the Sites Internal Link Structure
Some factors of High importance with some consensus were

  • Age of Site
  • Topical Relevance of Inbound Links to Site
  • Link Popularity of Site in Topical Community
  • Keyword Use in Body Text
  • Quality/Relevance of Links to External Sites/Pages
  • Rate of New Inbound Links to Site
  • Topical Relationship of Linking Page
  • Link Popularity of Site in Topical Community
  • Relationship of Body Text Content to Keywords (Topic Analysis)
  • Keyword Use in H1 Tag
  • Age of Document
  • Amount of Indexable Text Content
  • Topical Relationship of Linking Site
  • Age of Link
  • Text Surrounding the Link - Negative Factors
  • External Links to Low Quality/Spam Sites
  • Overuse of Targeted Keywords (Stuffing/Spamming)
  • Content Very Similar or Duplicate of Existing Content in the Index

Reasons To Grow Your Twitter Followers

Purists argue that twitter is a tool for updating friends and family. Others suggest that twitter has an application as an alternative communications channel.
Of course, it can also be used to spam and annoy others. Then, so can email, snail mail, phone calls, and just about any other medium. I think the answer lies somewhere in-between. Utopia exists where those that just want to chat with friends can do so without being bombarded with junk, and others are able to use the medium to influence, while simultaneously creating value for their followers too. Below is a list of reasons why having a large following on twitter may be worthwhile.
  1. Search Engine Rankings: Pagerank is often put forward as the main reason for influencing your position in Google search results. At a high level this is true, but more importantly it’s the number of links to your site, and their relevance and trust that matters even more. Unfortunately twitter uses “nofollow” attributes in their links, so any links to your site on twitter do not directly contribute to this process. But this is not the whole story. Links that pass via a large number of followers also tend to be clicked. Click-through-rates (CTR’s) will vary depending on the quality of your following, but they will drive traffic, albeit in low ratios sometimes. This increased usage will affect your rankings. The API also passes links without nofollows, and these can affect your ranking if later indexed by a search crawler somewhere.
  2. Social Proof: You are more likely to be listened to if you have a large following already. This is because people look to others for guidance all the time. This is largely a subconscious process, but we tend to feel more comfortable with a choice when we see other endorsing it.
  3. Driving Traffic: The more people you have following you, the more traffic you can drive somewhere. People will click your links when you tweet them. If you have your own website or blog, then this can become a quick and affordable way to create page views for your content. They might not all read that content, but it will at least give you an opportunity to win them over.
  4. Viral Effect: The number of retweets you get will grow as your following does. People will click on the retweeted links, and will also further retweet the retweeted links. It’s the viral effect. The larger your following, the more you will experience it.
  5. Branding: Spam your followers with low-quality updates and you’re likely to alienate them. Add value and you’re likely to get a lot of benefit from having your profile scrolling across their screen regularly.
  6. Expert Power: If your game is to be the guru, then building a following on twitter is very relevant. Due to the broadcast nature of the system, when you help people out you create visibility for your expertise. You don’t even have to be very active to be effective here. Just by being mildly active in your area of expertise you’re likely to build relevance as an expert. You will get referrals too, and these referrals will also be seen by the followers of the people sending them. This all goes hand-in with social proof. Initially, an expert with a large following will be perceived as genuine. Of course, it’s your job to maintain that credibility thereafter. If you are a blogger, then you need to pay attention to this point.
  7. Fewer Options: If you present someone with too many options, they’re likely to get frustrated and go elsewhere. Presenting potential customers with just enough options to cover their needs, while making it quick and easy for them to select amongst the options, is the way to win them over. The same dynamic exists when people choose whom to pay attention to. They want to find the interesting people to follow, without having to evaluate every option. Unfortunately, one of the only things they have to go on initially is follower size. If you have a large number of followers, then in their minds you may be one of the few top options at first glance.
Some followers obviously do not read their tweets, and as such a lot of these arguments can lose ground in the face of this, but it’s hard to discount them under all circumstances…

One Magic Way to Get Free Targeted Traffic

Did you know that there are two types of traffic? They are targeted traffic and non-targeted traffic. Targeted traffic from people who are interested in your websites and would be more likely to spend money on what you are selling.
And non-targeted traffic consists of the people who are not interested in buying what you are offering. They will not part with their money for what you are selling.
Obviously, it’s the targeted traffic that we want to generate. There’s no need to try to convince the non-targeted traffic into buying from you. You’ll be wasting your time and effort.
You may also hear that most free traffic sources will give you untargeted visitors, but here I will give a surefire way to get targeted traffic for Free!
It’s a “fool proof” way to get targeted traffic & passive earning. And, yes, the work is also dull and boring. But it WORKS!
So how it works?
  1. Do a research, find keywords that are relevant for your website. These keywords must be low competition that are frequently searched but do not have too many resources on the net.
  2. Write your articles around the keywords. Make sure the article title is unique that nobody uses your title.
  3. Create a resource box at the end of each of your articles and put link(s) to your site. Put relevant keywords of your site in the text link(s) .
  4. Submit your article to article directories. Only submit to those article sites that with high traffic and Google Page Rank.
  5. Repeat this process to make it work – YOU SHOULD WRITE AT LEAST ONE EZINE ARTICLE EVERY WEEK.
It’s best to write 3 new articles every day.
Once you have submitted your article, you can expect to show up on the first page of the results in Google within a week, and generally stay there for between 3 weeks and 2 months.
Summary
You see that you don’t need any capital to set it up – not like some of other paid ways.
But remind yourself to be consistent. Many people try it for a brief period of time, and when they don’t see results immediately, they often give up. You may be the exception. If you are, you will see dramatic results.
It is a time-consuming method, so you won’t see results overnight. But it provides results for long term – you will be rewarded with free, targeted traffic for years.

How I Get On Google Overnight

Download Firefox if you don’t already have it. Reason being is there is a ton of plugin tools you can use to help your website. One of the biggest tools I use is called SEO for Firefox by Arron Wall over at SEOBook.com. It basically gives you extra stats when you do a search in Google.

Another tool that I use is called Shareaholic. This is how I get indexed with Google so fast. Every time I post a new blog or write a new article or even link to someone I send that page to all the big social networking guys. Google searches these pages constantly and will get routed back to your site putting you on Google radar.

Also let’s say you exchange links with someone. It might take Google some time to crawl their site and recognize your link. To speed up this process submit the page that your link is on through Shareaholic and it should get indexed quickly making that link useful.

So my advice is to download this puppy and start to use it everytime you add new content to your website(s).

The Perfect Site Guide - 2 create a website

Want to create a website, but have no clue how to begin? Well, you are in the right place! This tutorial will walk you through all the steps to creating and marketing a website from scratch.

What Skills do I need?

If you're thinking about creating a website (especially if it's for business/money making), you may be curious or even intimidated by what you have to learn. Here are some skills and attributes that will come in handy.

A Basic Understanding of Web Programming

As I will emphasize several times throughout this book, you do not need to become an expert programmer to have a successful website, but you should learn the basics of HTML and CSS (more advice on that later).

Creativity

People underestimate the importance of this attribute. Anyone can throw up content and call it a website or a blog, but when it comes to effective marketing and building traffic, you have to dig deep and get in touch with your creative side.

Some will agrue creativenes cannot be learned because it is a talent. That's true to an extent, but I believe you can improve your creativity, especially if you study other successful Webmasters and Bloggers.

Thinking outside the box will take you far and is often the difference between success and failure. There is going to be competition no matter what topic you choose so you have to fine tune your approach and develop a fresh perspective on your topic.

Dare to be different.

Good Writing Skills

This skill is especially important if you want to make money the way I do (affiliate marketing). My writing has improved tremendously over the years. Let's take writing headlines, for example. Ten years ago I may have title a blog post about Twitter mistakes something simple like, Top Twitter Mistakes. (Yawn)

Today, I would take more time with that title and maybe craft something more attention grabbing like, 12 Twitter Crimes Almost Every Newbie Commits.

See how the 2nd title is much more interesting and eye-catching? This is something I learned over time by studing other successful Webmasters whose writing I admired. One headlines can be the difference between hundreds and thousands of visits. Click to read more...

How To Increase Your Blog's Earning Potential with Google AdSense

When you include Google AdSense ads on your blog, there is certainly potential to make money, but how? Many beginner bloggers have Google AdSense ads running, but the earnings aren't coming. Follow the steps below to give your blog's Google AdSense program the greatest chance for success and start making money now.

Difficulty: N/A

Time Required: Ongoing

Here's How:
  1. Determine your blog's primary focus.
Google AdSense ads are most effective when they are served to people who are interested in the products and services those ads offer. With that in mind, Google AdSense tends to work best on blogs that are about niche topics such as a specific product or hobby. Consider how you can make your blog's topic more focused to better attract specific types of readers and specific types of ads.
  2. Write consistent and focused content.
Google serves ads based on the content on each of your pages. The more focused your content is on each page, the better Google can determine which ads are the most relevant to your readers. Write consistently and stay focused on a specific topic to increase the likelihood that Google will display ads on your blog that your readers are apt to click on.
  3. Work to increase your blog's traffic.
The more visitors to your blog, the more potential for clicks on your Google AdSense ads. Work to increase your blog's traffic to boost your chances for ad click-throughs. However, keep in mind that if you write focused content, the ads on your blog will be relevant to that content. The traffic that comes to your blog needs to be interested in your blog's topic and your content, or they are not likely to be interested in your corresponding Google AdSense ads. Work to drive traffic but make a concerted effort to find traffic that adds value to your blog.
  4. Research and test keywords.
Google serves ads through its AdSense program based on keywords. Advertisers bid on keywords relevant to their businesses. Some keywords are more popular than others and therefore, drive higher bids. Higher paying keywords also mean higher payouts to you when your readers click on them. The ads served on your site are determined by the content on your site. If you're writing about topics related to higher paying keywords, then you're likely to earn more money from your Google AdSense program than if you wrote about topics related to lower paying keywords.
  5. Test Google AdSense ad positions on your blog.
You can display Google AdSense ads just about anywhere on your blog. Test a variety of positions on your blog to determine which work best for you in terms of generating click-throughs and maximum revenue.

Tips:

  • Check with your blogging software provider and blog host to ensure your blogging package allows you to place Google AdSense ads on your blog. For example, Wordpress.com does not allow Google AdSense ads.
  • Don't fall victim to the allure of covering your blog in ads to generate income. Blogs that are cluttered with ads are difficult to read, and readers typically don't return to blogs where the meaningful content is hidden in between ads.
  • Track your results to see what's working, particularly as you test keywords and ad positions. This will allow you to develop the best advertising mix to maximize your blog's income while staying consistent to your blog's brand image and overall message to readers at the same time.

15 Tips to Increase Blog Traffic

The blogosphere is a big and busy world with over 100 million blogs and growing. How do you attract visitors to your blog? Follow these simple tips to drive traffic to your blog.

1. Write Well and Write Often
Frequently updating your blog with useful content is the first step to building your blog's audience. The content you write is what will keep readers coming back for more. Make sure you have something meaningful to say to them and say it often to maintain their interest and keep them loyal.

Furthermore, post frequently to increase the number of chances you have for your blog's content to be noticed by search engines such as Google or Technorati.

2. Submit Your Blog to Search Engines
Get on the radar screen for the popular search engines such as Google and Yahoo! by submitting your blog's URL to them. Most search engines provide a 'Submit' link (or something similar) to notify the search engine of your new blog, so those search engines will crawl it and include your pages in their results.

It's important to understand that simply submitting your blog to search engines doesn't mean your pages will appear at the top of a Google search results screen, but at least your blog will be included and will have the chance of being picked up by a search engine.

3. Use and Update Your Blogroll
By adding links to sites you like in your blogroll, the owners of those blogs will find your blog and will be likely to add a reciprocal link in their blogrolls. It's an easy way to get the link to your blog in front of many readers on other blogs. The hope is that some of those readers will click on the link to your blog on the other blogs' blogrolls and find your content interesting and enjoyable turning them into loyal readers.

4. Harness the Power of Comments
Commenting is a simple and essential tool to increase your blog's traffic. First, respond to comments left on your blog to show your readers that you value their opinions and draw them into a two-way conversation. This will increase reader loyalty.

Second, leave comments on other blogs to drive new traffic. Make sure you leave your blog's URL in your comment, so you create a link back to your own blog. Many people will read the comments left on a blog post. If they read a particularly interesting comment, they are highly likely to click on the link to visit the commentor's website. It's important to make sure you leave meaningful comments that are likely to invite people to click on your link to read more.

5. Syndicate Your Blog's Content with an RSS Feed
Setting up an RSS feed button on your blog makes it easy for your loyal readers to not just read your blog but also know when you publish new content.

6. Use Links and Trackbacks
Links are one of the most powerful parts of your blog. Not only are links noticed by search engines, but they also act as a tap on the shoulder to other bloggers who can easily identify who is linking to their sites. Linking helps to get you noticed by other bloggers who are likely to investigate the sites that are linking to them. This may lead them to become new readers of your blog or to add links to your blog from theirs.

You can take links to other blogs a step further by leaving a trackback on the other blog to let them know you've linked to them. Blogs that allow trackbacks will include a link back to your blog in the comments section of the post that you originally linked to. People do click on trackback links!

7. Tag Your Posts
It takes a few extra seconds to add tags to each of your blog posts, but it's worth the time in terms of the additional traffic tags can drive to your blog. Tags (like links) are easily noticed by search engines. They're also key to helping readers find your blog when they perform searches on popular blog search engines such as Technorati.

8. Submit Your Posts to Social Bookmarking Sites
Taking the time to submit your best posts to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit and more can be a simple way to quickly boost traffic to your blog.

9. Remember Search Engine Optimization
When you write your blog posts and pages, remember to optimize your pages for search engines to find them. Include relevant keywords and links but don't overload your posts with too many relevant keywords or completely irrelevant keywords. Doing so can be considered spamming and could have negative results such as your blog being removed from Google's search entirely.

10. Don't Forget Images
Images don't just make your blog look pretty, they also help people find you in search engine listings. People often use the image search options offered by Google, Yahoo! and other search engines, and naming your images with search engine optimization in mind can easily boost your traffic.

The blogosphere is a big and busy world with over 100 million blogs and growing. How do you attract visitors to your blog? Follow these simple tips to drive traffic to your blog.

11. Consider Guest Blogging
Guest blogging can be done when you write a guest post on another blogger's blog or when another blogger writes a guest post on your blog. Both methods are likely to increase traffic as your blog will be exposed to the other blogger's audience. Many of the other blogger's readers will visit your blog to see what you have to say.

12. Join Forums, Web Rings or Online Groups
Find online forums, web rings, groups or social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn where you can share ideas and ask questions of like-minded individuals. Add a link to your blog in your signature line or profile, so each time you post on a forum or participate in another online network, you're indirectly promoting your blog. Chances are many people will click on that link to learn more about you.

13. Promote Outside Your Blog
Promoting your blog shouldn't stop when you step outside the blogosphere. Add your blog's URL to your email signature and business cards. Talk about it in offline conversations. It's important to get your name and your blog's URL noticed offline, too.

14. Nominate Yourself and Other Blogs for Blog Awards
There are a number of blog awards given out throughout the year. Nominating yourself and other blogs and bloggers can draw attention to your blog and drive traffic to it.

15. Don't Be Shy
The most important part of the blogosphere is its community and much of your success as a blogger will be tied to your willingness to network with that community. Don't be afraid to ask questions, join conversations or just say hi and introduce yourself. Don't sit back and hope the online world will find you. Speak out and get yourself noticed. Let the blogosphere know you've arrived and have something to say!

"3 Guaranteed Money Making Strategies To Implement in Under A Minute!"

Integration Marketing on Steroids

The purpose of this report is to quickly teach you several money making strategies that you can begin implementing in under a minute. We all want specific, step by step examples of money making strategies we can implement RIGHT NOW and start profiting from, so that‘s what I‘ll be teaching in this report.

I have no idea how long this report will end up. Probably not long, but that‘s not the point. I could easily write a 100 page "eBook" on these strategies, but because this is a report and I know you value your time, I‘m going to skip the "theory" and get straight to the steps involved in making the money. Cool?

Alright, Let‘s get started!

The first strategy I want to share with you is something that takes a technique that has become a bit more well-known to our internet marketing community over the past year or so. To be honest, it‘s probably still only used by less than 1% of all internet marketers, despite the fact that it works so incredibly well and is super easy to implement. I‘m talking about integration marketing. The process of "integrating" your product offer into someone else‘s sales funnel.

The example you may have heard Mike Filsaime teach is the Coke/Pepsi example. You‘ve
probably never seen a Coke/Pepsi store, yet Coke and Pepsi are two of the most wellknown companies in the world. How do they make money? Simple; they "integrate" their product offer into other company‘s sales funnels (i.e. at baseball games, in restaurants when someone orders a meal, in vending machines at a gas station along with other soft drinks, in hotels, in bars, and so on and so forth). They give the restaurant a small % of the sale made, and then they keep the remaining %. They don‘t have to worry about getting customers to their store because they just "mooch" off of other "store‘s" customers. This also works extremely well online. So well, in fact, that Mike Filsaime hired a full-time employee to do nothing but get HIS offers integrated into other marketers sales funnels (i.e. their product "thank you pages").

Alright, so where are a couple of places that you could integrate your offer? Click here to read more....

3 Simple Ways to Find the Right Friends to Help You Make More Money Online

When you work at a job, very often you are surrounded by a team of co-workers who work with you in some kind of capacity. Very often the social bonds we build at work with our co-workers rival those we have with some of our closest friends.

If you ever get “stuck” there’s almost always another co-worker to ask for help, such as someone who may have more experience, or perhaps even a supervisor or manager. As long as you have a desire to be more productive, at most places of employment there is a very specific action plan you can follow to achieve that and its already laid out for you by the hierarchy of people you report to.

What do you do when you’re an Online Money Maker such as an Affiliate Marketer or Professional Blogger and you work from home?

Very often when people start working from home they try to re-establish a kind of social network of friends to talk to ever day, socialize, bounce ideas off of, etc. However, many of your friends may not be online marketers and frankly may not be interested in it at all. So if you try talking to them about your newest affiliate marketing idea, or a Blog post you wrote the other day that got on the first page of Digg, they may honestly not give a crap.
This can lead to a kind of “work-from-home-loneliness” which many people are afraid of. In their loneliness, a lot of people end up self-sabotaging their new online venture unconsciously so that they can get back into a job and be part of a group. Feeling like you’re part of something is a very strong human need, so before this need begins to express itself in ways that are not empowering to your business, you need to take proactive measures to express this need in a healthy way.

Here’s 3 ways to find the right friends to help you make money online:

(1) Connect with people who make money when you make money.

Ask yourself – “Who makes money when I make money?“. That may be one of the first places you could look to start your social circle.

For example, one group of people who make money when I make money is affiliate networks. This establishes a win-win situation right off the bat. In this first year of my affiliate marketing business I’ve taken the time to reach out and build a few key relationships with some affiliate managers and certain owners of affiliate networks. Whenever I earn money as an affiliate, they make some money too so it’s in their best interest to help me make more money. Many of these people I talk to on a daily basis (some 7 days a week).

Although these types of relationships may start based strictly on making money, after a while you’ll probably realize that you become pretty good friends with your “business partners”.

Benefits of befriending the people who make money when you make money:
  • Win / Win situation from the start. When they help you succeed, they succeed.
  • Often you can trust their advice on specific topics more than others because they have a vested interest in seeing you succeed.
  • Makes it more fun to “work” when you’re “working” with friends instead of “strangers”.

Drawbacks of befriending the people who make money when you make money:

  • Some short-sighted individuals may not be interested in helping you until you get “big” by yourself. By then, you probably don’t need their “friendship”.
  • Don’t assume that your friendship is exclusive. There may be dozens of other people just like you they work with.
  • It is possible they may really not like you, but they’re just talking to you because you make them money. You can generally get a feel for this fairly quickly though.
(2) Connect with people who are doing what you’re doing.

Look for other people doing what you’re doing. As an affiliate marketer I also talk to several other affiliate marketers on an almost daily basis.

In a way you may actually be befriending your competition when you do this, but that doesn’t mean a successful friendship can’t be formed out of this.

Many people are scared of competition, but in reality our competitors keep us sharp and on the ball.

Benefits of befriending people out there who are doing the same thing as you are doing:
  • Often times these are some of the best people to bounce ideas off of. Although you do have to be somewhat aware that any ideas you share with these people may end up being utilized by them.
  • Their success can help to inspire you, or even piss you off enough to get off your butt and do something.
  • If you get stuck with something, such as not knowing where to find a specific resource ,these people can often be very helpful.
  • It’s kind of fun getting to know other people in your line of business to see what they’re up to and what they’re doing.
Drawbacks of befriending people there who are doing the same thing as you are doing:
  • You have to be aware of the fact that they may “borrow” your ideas. It may not be smart to tell them too much specific information about what you’re doing.
  • Sometimes you could end up spending too much time socializing with these individuals, online, offline, at events, etc. that neither of you get much work done.
  • If you befriend only people at the same level of success as you are at, you may adopt each other’s limiting beliefs. When you share a limiting belief, they may verify it and you may make the false assumption that just because the two of you believe whatever it is to be true, it must be true.
(3) Connect with other unrelated entrepreneurs.

Sometimes the best friendships you end up building are with other entrepreneurs in totally different industries. In fact the only thing you may share in common is that you both work for yourselves as entrepreneurs, instead of working at a job.

A lot of times we assume that we can only learn from people in our line of business. This isn’t true. Sometimes the best ideas for your business will come from someone who is in a totally different line of business.

Benefits of befriending other entrepreneurs in other lines of business:
  • You can share ideas more openly as these people are most likely in a totally different line of business, so less worry about competition.
  • Other business models and ideas from other industries can often spark ideas in your line of business.
  • You could gain a competitive advantage over other people in your line of business by implementing an idea from a different industry.
Drawbacks of befriending other entrepreneurs in other lines of business:
  • Other lines of business may be totally different from yours and it may be difficult to understand the other persons line of business.
  • Seeing people succeed in other lines of business when you’re struggling in yours can be disheartening at times. You may all of a sudden find yourself wanting to do what they’re doing.
  • Because you may not have a lot in common to start with, it’s not as easy to meet/befriend these people.
So there you go. These are 3 simple ways you can find the right friends for your to work with an a regular basis so that you don’t end up feeling like you’re doing this all by yourself and no longer have any “friends” since leaving your job behind.

Internet Marketing Secrets Revealed

Several years ago, I discovered the secret to making a small fortune on the Internet.

Now I’m going to share that secret with you. When I first started working on the Web, I never dreamed I could make the kind of money I’m making today. To be honest, it was never my intent. At first, I just wanted a bit of extra cash to supplement my real job and maybe put a little money aside for the future. What I discovered amazed me! Within just a few short months, my little online business was raking in thousands of extra dollars every month! I was making more in a month with my Internet business than I was earning working 8 to 6, making profits for my boss.

As you can imagine, it wasn’t long before I decided to ditch ’The Boss’ and start working for myself full-time. That was back in 2001. Now, I have several completely automated marketing systems set up on the Web bringing in cash 24/7. Each morning, I wake up, make myself a cup of coffee and spend several minutes checking my emails for that familiar ‘You’ve Got Cash’ from PayPal and making sure that my systems are working properly. 10 Affiliate Conversion

Most affiliate marketers are failing this very minute. Gurus will sell ebooks that are full of almost useless stuff, using sales pages that are borderline false advertisements. They lead you to believe that you'll be making thousands of dollars by this time next week, and it occurs so rarely I'd call it a miracle if I ever seen it happen.

However, I'm not trying to say that the techniques they sell don't work. While many common affiliate marketing techniques do work, they're either too complicated, boring, expensive, difficult or time-consuming for the majority of people to follow.

This isn't a technique that only works for internet marketing products or ClickBank ebooks. It will work in every niche as long as you can find a decent product to promote (which there are millions of).

Okay, here's what you need to know start getting 10% conversion rates. Click here to read more...
